BLOODBOUND: First 2008 Festival Dates Announced

BLOODBOUND — the Swedish/German metal band featuring Fredrik Bergh (STREET TALK; bass, keyboards and backing vocals) and Tomas Olsson (lead and rhythm guitars) — has scheduled the following festival appearances during 2008:

Jun. 20 - Hellter Skelter Festival - Peine (Hannover),Germany
Jul. 13 - Masters Of Rock - Vizovice Czech Republic

BLOODBOUND was recently rejoined by singer Urban Breed (ex-TAD MOROSE). "Urban [who originally left BLOODBOUND in August 2006] has been doing all the live shows with the band for the last [few] months," reads a posting on the group's web site. "He is now officially back and the band is stronger than ever. They have also started to work on their third album."

BLOODBOUND's new CD, "Book of the Dead" (featuring singer Michael Bormann [JADED HEART, BONFIRE, J.R. BLACKMORE, RAIN]),entered the Swedish chart at position No. 66.

"Book of the Dead" has two different covers: one for Asia and Brazil (cover) and one for Europe (cover). In addition, the Asian release contains a bonus track while the European version features a bonus video and comes as a limited-edition digipack.

BLOODBOUND's debut album, "Nosferatu", was released in Europe in February 2006 via Metal Heaven. The CD was recorded and produced by Tomas Olsson and Fredrik Bergh.
